The EP was created during 2017 between Nashville's PlethoraTone and Knoxville's Sound Lair. The "For Once" video took place in local Tennessee caverns.

This album was recorded during the fall of 2019 between Nashville's Welcome to 1979 and Knoxville's Sound Lair. The primary video location for "Trace of Rain" features St. Charles' historic Arcada Theatre.
